In 2012 Arrowhead Trails’ Crew members had the pleasure of working with a wonderful resident family of the Mesa Antero subdivision located in Nathrop, Colorado. The family asked ATI to construct a trail from the top of their property down to the creek that flowed through the property. The scope of the project consisted of a short machine built trail with 2 switchbacks, two sets of flagstone stairs, and 3 natural log benches. The trail not only provides access to the creek bottom, but also provided access for a chipping crew to come in and thin out sub-canopy vegetation to open up views of the property. The end result was a very aesthetically pleasing and functional product fit for access as well as entertaining.
